Social Login Policy

This Social Login Privacy Policy explains how the Google Sign-In feature offered by SaveOnShirts.ca accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data. SaveOnShirts.ca is operated by Checkpoint1 Apparel Corp. This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy.

Purpose of Google Sign-In

SaveOnShirts.ca is a Canadian online store offering blank T-shirts, sweatshirts, activewear, outerwear, workwear, headwear, bags and other apparel. We provide Google Sign-In as an optional and convenient way for customers to create or access their SaveOnShirts.ca customer account without creating a separate password.

Google Sign-In is optional. An account is not required to shop on SaveOnShirts.ca, and customers may use the other account creation and sign-in options available on our website.

Google User Data We Access

When you choose to sign in with Google, Google may provide SaveOnShirts.ca with the following basic account information:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your unique Google account identifier
• Your profile picture, if available

SaveOnShirts.ca does not receive your Google password. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Google Calendar or other Google Workspace content.

How We Use Google User Data

Information received through Google Sign-In is used to:

• Verify your identity
• Create or connect your SaveOnShirts.ca customer account
• Sign you in securely
• Provide customer-account features such as saved addresses, order history and order tracking
• Provide customer service and account-related communications
• Prevent unauthorized account access, fraud and misuse

If you place an order, your name and email address may also be used for order processing, confirmations, shipping notifications, customer service and other transactional purposes.

Using Google Sign-In does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email. Google Sign-In data is not sold, used for targeted advertising or used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell Google user data.

Google Sign-In data may be processed by BigCommerce and other service providers that support our ecommerce platform, customer accounts, authentication, website hosting, security and technical operations. These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to a lawful government request, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to protect our customers, employees, business or property.

Storage and Security

Information used to establish your SaveOnShirts.ca account may be stored in our ecommerce and customer-account systems. Authentication information may also be processed by Google, BigCommerce and their supporting technology providers.

We use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include secure website connections, account controls and restrictions on access to customer information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

Google Sign-In information associated with your customer account may be retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal purposes.

If you place an order, related transaction, payment, shipping, tax and business records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when required by law. These records may need to be retained even after your customer account is deleted.

When information is no longer reasonably required, it may be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Deleting Your Account and Google User Data

You may request deletion of your SaveOnShirts.ca account and associated Google Sign-In information by following our account-deletion instructions or by emailing privacy@saveonshirts.ca.

We will delete, destroy or anonymize information that we are not legally required to retain. We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.

Deleting your SaveOnShirts.ca account does not delete your Google account. You may separately revoke SaveOnShirts.ca’s access through the security settings in your Google Account.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion of information we are not legally required to retain, or ask how your information has been collected, used or shared.

You are not required to use Google Sign-In or create an account to shop on SaveOnShirts.ca.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our Social Login functionality, technology or data-handling practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
